How to Restore Your Purchase
If you've reinstalled UltraLocked or are using a new device with the same Apple ID, tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall or in Settings to re-activate your premium subscription.
What "Restore Purchases" Does
The "Restore Purchases" function securely communicates with the Apple App Store to check your purchase history for an active UltraLocked subscription tied to your Apple ID. If it finds one, it re-enables all your premium features in the app.
Use this feature if:
- You have deleted and reinstalled UltraLocked.
- You have installed UltraLocked on a new iPhone or iPad.
- The app is mistakenly showing you as a free user when you have an active subscription.
How to Restore Your Purchase
You can find the "Restore Purchases" button in two primary places:
- On the Subscription Screen: At the bottom of the subscription paywall, there is a "Restore Purchases" button.
- In Settings: Navigate to Settings > Subscription to find the restore option.
Tapping the button will prompt the App Store to verify your account. You may need to enter your Apple ID password.
Important: Restoring Purchases vs. Restoring Data
"Restore Purchases" only re-activates your subscription features. It does not restore your vault data. Your vault data is stored only on your physical device and is intentionally not backed up to any cloud service, including iCloud, to ensure your privacy.
